How it works

From request to received,
in three steps.

You send a link. Your client adds their documents. You open them. Nobody in between can read the files, including us.

The life of a requestColor always means the state of a request.
01

Requested

You name the request and create its link.

02

Waiting

Your client has the link. Nothing has been added yet.

03

Sealed

Files have arrived encrypted. We can't open them.

04

Opened

Decrypted on your device and written to the received log.

05

Expired

The link stops working and the sealed copies are deleted.

Step 1

Send one link.

Name the request and create its link. Send it however you already reach your client: email, text or your own portal.

  • No client account to create
  • One request can collect many files
  • Each link expires on schedule, 14 days by default
Step 2

Your client adds documents.

They open the link on any phone or laptop, take photos or choose files, and send. Files are encrypted on their device before they are uploaded.

  • Nothing to install
  • Works with the phone camera
  • They see when the files have arrived
Step 3

You open them.

Files arrive sealed. Your passphrase unlocks your team's key and the files are decrypted on your device, not on our servers.

  • A received log with file names and times
  • Download everything, or export the log
  • Expired requests are deleted from our servers
1link per request, however many files it collects
0accounts for your client to create
14days before a link expires, by default

What your client sees

Three screens on their phone. No account, no app.

The page carries your organization's name and the name you gave the request, so they know who is asking and for what.

1 · Add files

They add files

Photos from the camera or files from the phone. Nothing to install.

2 · Sending

Their phone seals them

Each file is encrypted on the phone, then the sealed copy is uploaded.

3 · Sent

They see it arrived

A plain confirmation. Nothing is kept on the phone afterwards.

Set up once

Your team is ready in about three minutes.

1 of 4

Create your account

Your organization's name and a work email.

2 of 4

Set a passphrase

It unlocks your team's key on your device. We never see it.

3 of 4

Save your recovery key

The only way back in if you lose the passphrase.

4 of 4

Turn on two-step sign-in

A code from your authenticator app each time you sign in.

Beyond intake

The same sealed channel, for the rest of the job.

Planned

Send files out

Seal contracts or statements on your device and send one link. The recipient opens it with a passkey on their own phone or computer. The first time, they create one and the link is bound to it.

Record

Keep the record

A received log for every request: how many files arrived, how large and when. An audit log of who on your team did what. Both export to a file, and neither holds what is inside a file.

Team

Set the rules

Owners and members. Two-step sign-in, auto-lock, how long links last and approval of new devices are set once and apply to everyone on the team.

When something goes wrong

Plain words for the awkward moments.

Team

Wrong passphrase

We say so plainly and point you to your recovery key. We can't reset it for you.

Client

Expired link

Your client is told to ask you for a new one. Nothing they add after the expiry is uploaded.

Team

Passphrase and recovery key both lost

Nobody can open the files, including us. That is the cost of us never holding your key.

See it with your own request.

The demo on the home page runs the whole flow with sample files. A call shows it with yours.
